CNN's John Sutter looks at the reasons why police didn't breach a barricaded school. He says they knew people were alive in the classroom and heard shots on three separate times. Officers who showed up, including a d p s supervisor, reinforced them with shields but did nothing to break down the door. The whole reason, according to bortak, is because they didn't know what was going on.
