Economics has become somewhat more female over the last ten or 20 years. There's always been a division in the kinds of work that female and male economists do. Is niceness a good way to fight back? Or is it better to put niceness aside to get the result you want? The real question is, how do we help men catch up? Can we just raise the expectations for what men should be?
