The Potential of an Intelligent Being Down There

Greg Bear: I am really intrigued by things that could exist or life underneath the surface. What do you think's actually down there? Or what could you say about a potential intelligent being down there? Another branch off of humanity, perhaps. He would suggest basic logic and reasoning using the roof and furniture analogy as a place to go.
