Social work in Australia has very firm roots in Christianity. It's frowned upon if we perpetuate any sort of religious or spiritual belief. In hospital and health social work, we are constantly having to have these conversations with people about their spiritual beliefs. And especially when you're coming to end of life. We can't let this case study go by and not talk about the role of spirituality in social work.
