Thomas richard bunday, or richard, as he was more commonly known, was born in nashville, tennessee, on september 20 eighth 19 forty eight. Richard's father, a welder turned salesman, suffered from unspecified mental disorders and would often beat richard and his mother. He did well academically, but he was not popular and struggled with his weight. The disparity in self confidence is most prevalent around age 14, which also happens to be a critical time for teens.
