Is There a Political Polarization?
People's political views are getting more and more tied to their cultural identity. If you shop at whole foods, i can already guessa nine out of your ten polit opinions. And if you go to a gun rally oryou go to a country music concert, not out of your 10 political opinions. That's that has kind of emergent problematic dynamics in terms of driving and a solidifying, polarizing dynamics. This seems to be an extended reckoning with the power of broadcast media. Essentially is what i would describe as the generator function of this particular kind of polarization.
