The Uffington White Horse in the Thames Valley
Mary Ann has brought us to a very special spot where we can see lots from a 360 degree view effectively. It's really distinctive geologically because it sort of is an enclosed space, almost like a natural amphitheater. We're about almost 600 feet above the valley itself so we are actually quite high up and we're at one of the highest points in the downland. The most spectacular one is that white horse which is essentially galloping up on the hillside just above us,. rising up along the edge of the hill and going up into the sky.
