In Moscow, the current mayor is an insane man who decided to die. He was like, we're going to get rid of all the trolley buses in Moscow and replace them with battery buses. The bus stops are spaced widely apart so it's more like rapid transit than a bus that stops at every corner. Passengers pay their fare before they get on the bus. So everyone can board more quickly.
