I think that organized religion is about manipulation. And as a Pentecostal, even thinking against the ideas, even doubt, doubt, just doubt alone is blasphemy. It's heretical. So by me asking about extracurricular non canonical texts from the Bible, which is what started off for me, that was blasphemous. Those other texts that you're reading like these nagamadi and the Dead Sea Scrolls, and these nahstic texts that predate Christianity were underground Christianity or parallels. By them, by those texts breaking you free from what you thought was true this whole time, that's bad for them because then you break away from their congregation and their soul
