There's more to the human being than just things you can view under a microscope. There are metaphysical constituents, things that aren't amenable to physical sciences. If it's a substance, it is a form and prime matter composite. Everything is made up insofar as it exists. The proper way to think of high lemorphism is that whatever we want to say of the soul or the form, it cannot be a substance.
