Choosing When to Stop Looking Back and Start Looking Forward
At the beginning of the book, there was a particular patternit. She would read a letter, and then we'd see, like, what she had asked for,. Then we'd have it, like the flashback moment where we'd see her what really happened. To dwell too much in the past would detract from the story itselfcause you want to move forward. So now you move forward with a story that will take away the sadness and bring in the joy and the happiness that comes with christmas. And after a while, things become intuitive. You know instinctively when time to turn the plot, when it's time to moveforward.
