Nietzsche's Argument for a Return to Noble Morality

Nietzsche says we should return to Homeric values of prowess in battle and cruelty. But is that how you understand his work? No, I mean he talks about sort of marauding band of aristocratic warriors going around burning and pillaging. The way he describes it, it's clear that he thinks there's a kind of freedom and self-assuredness about it. We need that because we've got these instincts which can't discharge themselves externally.
