Why We Should Be Concerned About Biological Weapons
The Soviet Union had an industrial scale biological weapons program that could have killed everybody on Earth. The current public assessment from the State Department assesses that Russia and North Korea both have biological weapons, programs, and activities. There is concern that China and Iran are sort of toying with things that cross the line from defensive sort of protective capabilities to actually potentially being offensive biological weapons programs as well.
