The Passable God
An impassable god cannot be moved by the burning house to think, feel or act in any particular way. A passable god can be moved by considerations that are external to himself. That is the kind of god that can actually respond to a burning house. Both sets of a logies seem to have a very perverse understanding of emotions. In both stories, the emotional people are the ones who are helpless to do anything and are behaving in the most irrational of ways.
