Enrico Dandolo - The Doge of the Crusade

Enrico must have known about the possibility of an attack on Constantinople before he left home. Dandolo had signed a treaty with the Byzantines guaranteeing his people extensive trading privileges. The French contingent had no clue about the state of Byzantine politics, and Boniface would have been much better informed. It's very much worth saying that Dandolo probably did not imagine sacking Constantinople.
