Is There a Comfort Zone?
I think for a long time I thought it was a destination. And even that made me unhappy. It was like, oh, well, I'm already on the back foot. We have to do stuff that scares us because that's a more memorable experience. Two weeks ago we sat in a Ferrari in a Formula One car with a race car driver. He knows there's something wrong or you've passed out if he lets go of the panic button. If you release it, he knows there'ssomething wrong or you pass out. But this is definitely out of my comfort zone. So as a happiness researcher i wanted to understand what's the thrill, what's the joy of it personally.
