The Unconstitutional Second Impeachment Trial of President Donald Trump
An impeachment process is really a purely political process. In this case, the jurors are members of the United States Senate. Many have already announced that they were leaning either towards conviction or acquittal. There was a motion presented by Senator Rand Paul before this process has already begun. The argument was that because President Trump is no longer sitting president, that this impeachment is unconstitutional.
