Cop and Marsh - The Beginning of a Hateful Rivalry

In the late 1860s, Cop invited Marsh on a trip to one of Cop's fossil hunting grounds. It ended up being the start of a hateful rivalry that would consume these two men for the rest of their lives and result also in a lot of very determined and very bitter science getting done. They attacked each other in publications, they slandered each other to colleagues and continued to undermine the other's fossil hunting efforts.
