Is There a Danger of Romantizing Ai Too Much?
The book is very interestingly, both historical project and a political project. There was definitely the danger of romanticizing the past. And e so i was very careful about that. I was trying to put ugbar in his own time and context,. Also look at our present and contrast it with the past. For a 20 first century reader, for a 20 first Century man that i am, of course, it is revolting.
