Taking a Vow Lightly Is a Serious Thing

A vows is defined as a promise made to God that's binding upon us. Jesus wasn't prohibiting the use of vows, he was highlighting the fact that they had proliferated in the early first century when Jesus was walking this earth. The temptation is always going to be: let me just fit in, let me just look like everyone else. But here is the Lord God who says you can't look likeeveryone else because you're not,.
