Hans-Herman Hoppe is a German-born economist of the Austrian School, an anarcho-capitalist, professor emeritus of economics at the University of Nevada and, as the title of this book would suggest, not a democracy enjoyer.
Considered a seminal work by, among others, NRx luminaries such as Mencious Moldbug and Nick Land, Democracy: The God That Failed offers a praxeological justification for why all states are bad, but democracies are worse than monarchies.
