The Death of the Denyadys
The Denyadys were forced to kill their husbands by their father Egyptus. One of the daughters, Hypernestra, refused to kill her new husband and helped him escape instead. The two fell in love and became powerful rulers of their kingdom. But as for the other Denyas, well, they lived out the rest of their lives plagued by grief and regret.
