The Polish Community in the United Kingdom

Poland has impacted the entire history of europe at three moments in the twentieth century. The first is the polish soviet war in 19 20, where they draw the line against the advance of bolshevism. The second is september 19 39, when they decide to fight nazia germany. And the third was august 19 80, and the birth of the solidarity movement. It amazes me that this is such a rich experience to travel round poland, and yet we know nothing about it.
