What's the Difference Between a Semitic and a Greek?
Alashian is a Semitic language on Cyprus and posit them like you did with Novograd. It's Northwest Semitic, which would make it essentially a sister language to languages like Phoenician, Hebrew, Aramaic. So it wasn't derived all the way from protosomitic, but from, I guess, proto Northwest Semitic you could say.
