We need to still take seriously until disproved what I call the AI null hypothesis. When actual impacts do show up that begin having a material impact on the day-to-day experience of people in their lives, then it will be disproven. It's not worth getting upset about predicted futures. It's much better to confront things that actually have happened. The time is right then, my advice is let's filter for actual impacts.
