The Incubator Baby Story

A young Kuwaiti girl gave dramatic testimony before the U.S. Congress about babies being pulled from incubators and scattered like firewood across the floor. The story was picked up by George H.W. Bush, who referenced it no less than six times in various speeches leading up to the Gulf War. In January 1991, the Gulf War began, and military intervention resulted, at least in part due to that dramatic testimony on C-SPAN.
