Reception of the book has been mixed. It's getting grave reviews from readers. But thy haven't really reviewed the book. They've reviewed the fact that we wrote it and saidt we shouldn't have done why? Well, i think there's a lot of people that went out on a limb saying that the libleke theory was a, a conspiracy theory and a nut case,. A crackpot theory. And so that they are finding it very hard to admit that that possibility needs to be taken seriously.

A new virus descended on the human species in 2019 wreaking unprecedented havoc. Finding out where it came from and how it first jumped into people is an urgent priority, but early expectations that this would prove an easy question to answer have been dashed. Nearly two years into the pandemic, the crucial mystery of the origin of SARS-CoV-2 is not only unresolved but has deepened.
