What Does Chevrolet Mean?

Chevrolet is a gorgeous French term for one of the most American things in my head. I think it just means that some gorgeous, classy American at the time thought that they should look to France when naming their vehicle. The metaphor is like if you are a avid Chevy, you're in your Chevy and you're in the parking lot and then you do the focus. It's called sign up for a reason because you're going to go all over the place.
