The Purchase of Perfleet
Badunme bought the estate of Carfax in Perfleet, near Exeter. The house is fore-sided and looks like a keep from medieval times. It has been added to but in a very straggling way. Badunme: I fall into my country's habit of putting your patronemic first. My friend Jonathan Harker will not be by my side to correct and aid me. He will be an Exeter miles away, probably working at papers of the law with his other friend Peter Hawkins.
