Do We Need Absolute Religious Liberty?
If you want religious liberty to be actually protected, you need to defend everyone's religious freedom. Once you break that firewall that says the government is going to be able to infringe upon some religions and not others, once you breach that fire wall, you better pray you win all your elections. The handmaiden of liberty is responsibility. And i think that what we often do in this country, as we we so focus on the liberty, we don't focus on what the liberty grants us the ability to do. That's evangelizing. That's showing the love of jesus. But we just keep thinking about religious liberty, religious liberty,religious liberty.
