Manchester City's Plans for a £300m New Entertainment Venue Next to the Etihad Stadium
Manchester City have submitted their planning application for a £300m new entertainment venue next to the Etihad Stadium. The club said that construction works on the project would take up to three years and could offer up to 2,600 jobs prioritised for people from Greater Manchester. There's going to be a roof walk experience where you harness up and walk around the roof very much like the O2 Arena in London or Hudson Yards in New York. If approved, this big structure is going to be integrated into the existing stadium and kind of centred around a new, larger north stand which will help take the ground's overall capacity up to 60,000 people. I can't wait to see it.
