Decentralized Blockchain Architecture

I did never use the word decentralized because I have an issue with decentralized. In France, the whole public power is centralized in a sense that every law, every rule comes from Paris and is applied to the rest of the country. Based on that definition, blockchains are not decentralized at all. So it's distributed? Yes. It's paralyzed? Yes. Okay. If your service is worthwhile, then your nodes will be spread well. And if I own a node, and if my node is well protected, I know that this is the genuine story. While if the history is somewhere else and I'm not making a request, I'm never really sure if it's the real truth back
