Epicureanism

Epicureanism was a school of thought that got started with a man named epicurus, who lived from three forty one to two 71 b c. He does believe you should live for pleasure, but these pleasures should not be found in the sorts of base activities that often leave us unhappy. The pleasant life is produced not by a string of drinking bouts and revelries, nor by the enjoyment of boys and women,. Not by fish and other items on an expensive menu, but by sober reasoning.
