Friendship Is a Good in Its Own Right?
The practice of friendship has declined in the United States to practically non-existence over the last 30 years. On average, in the 1980s, we said we had three friends; now many people say they don't have one. Friendship is a natural good that God has created us: He made us to be social beings. It's almost, I don't know if the internet things are so transactional and so, uh, automatic that friendships aren't like that.
