Mitch mc connell, the republican leader in the united states senate, sent a letter to the president. He wrote that he didn't want his unified democratic government to sleep walk toward an avoidable catastrophe when they've had nearly three months notice to do their job. If republicans don't get out of the way and let the senate take action, our government will, in all likelihood, enter default for the first time ever.
