Commercial Theatre Is the Biggest Export
Commercial theatre has received absolutely nothing from the government in any kind of meaningful way. Unlike what's happened in the united states, where any production that was running anywhere in the country in 20 19 a was given forty five per cent of itsa box office. And would you believe, ten million dollars? So many productions received ten million dollars. I mean, when we had to cancel cinderella in july, we lost overnight 700 thousand pounds. We and the government simply didn't listen when you say youd go under. What do you mean i thinkw wouldn't be able to continue? The fact the matter is, is is that whatever the government thinks if this all happened again.
