Michael hoffman's essay introducing kingkill 33 is called alchemical conspiracy and the death of the west. The first nuclear test, the assassination of jfgay and the moon landing were all alchemical operations by way of proof. Hoffman and downard both also, as far as i can tell, pioneered the innovation of looking at lay lines as magical signifiers. I think this might be one of the first main times that conspiracy theory culture was doing this.
