The Role of the State in Utopia
I think of utopianism as a resource for political action. There have always been these utopians and they're always there. We tend to ignore them because they're such a small percentage of the population. But in moments of crisis and upheaval I think that the utopians become inspirations for us. And so many ideas that started off as being very utopian ideas eventually move their way into the mainstream.
