What Is a Maker Space?

Design thinking is a way to provide a process for students to engage in that type of thinking. It's also very timely, because it allows students often to explore different technologies as they engage in that inquiry and design thinking process. A maker space should be an environment that encourages students to be able to state organized in terms of having a plan, having a purpose. And i think outside of traditional class rooms, i think maker spaces do afford us more flexibility and agility from what i've seen.
