How Mindfulness Can Support Addiction

When we are able to apply mindfulness, we're able to recognize in that moment what's happening and it helps us make a different choice. In terms of food, I used to have an eating disorder from the time that she was 14 to about 24. It wasn't dieting helped me recover. It was mindfulness and deepening in self compassion so that when I ate, I had bulimia. So yeah, mindfulness can support us in so many ways.
