The Covid Mask

My flatmate said that she'd had a knock on the door, looked through the peephole, and saw a guy standing outside in the hall wearing a COVID mask. Now back in the summer of 2021, it was totally normal to see people wearing masks. In fact, I think it'll be a long bloody time before anyone sees anyone in a surgical mask and thinks, why are they obscuring the lower two thirds of their face?
