The Intentional Context of a Statement

If you want to say, Clark Kent is my brother, the same as saying Superman is my brother. This should sound familiar that something is reducible to something else if you can substitute it in a sentence and retain the truth of that sentence. If you're doing an intentional logic, then you have to pay attention to the fact that Clark Kent and Superman are names with different connotations. And so when you're considering what the meaning scientifically of a statement is, you don't pay attention to linguistic connotations. You pay attention to what is actually being referred to.
