Richard Dawkins and I were at a conference together talking about science and religion. Ken Miller was there who wrote the definitive debunking book of intelligent design. What can I disagree with in terms of what is sometimes referred to in philosophy as the ethics of belief? He thinks that it is dangerous, not just ethically problematic, but dangerous to believe in things for which there is no evidence.
