Jim knows that it's Pam's goal to befriend a kid. But rather than help her bond with Abby, he just kind of shows off and steals Abby away. I think if he were really being nice at the end of that whole spiel, he would have said, do you know who else loves books? Pam? Yes. This is what I'm saying. He doesn't help facilitate anything. He just comes in and shows off. It felt a little bit weirdly competitive. Do you not see that? Well, I guess I do. And now he's like, boundary, Jim. Now he's like,. I don't help you anymore because I'm not your fiance.
