The Spectra of the James Webe Space Telescope
The spectrum of the spectrograph of a of the james web space telescope is going to be able to try and do that. It will look t at light absorbed by planets, but also, by the way, light emitted by objects like planets. And if we look at atmospheres around other planets, we might look for not only just carbon, carbon oxide and hydrogen, but organic materials.
