The forgetting is a friend of learning. If we delay re studying some information, we'll forget more before we re study but that will enhance greatly the effectiveness of the re learning. That's sometimes called the spacing effect. A very robust thing is you study something twice a either write in a rol or you study a once, go on to do other things and come back and study it. It's in that second case that you have much better long term memory.
