Valery: What's useful about a desirable difficulty is that it slows us down so that we're not doing stuff really fast. For students who might already struggle with reading or keeping information in mind, having an extra thing to slow them down just cis them over. I'm going to show you another example in a minute, but a nice illustration how desirable difficulties are really aboute where students or learners are in the moment.
