Is There a Way to Address Climate Change?
i think that the devisiveness of american politics is actually reflective of the divided nature of America, and its accurately reflecting that. The idea that one issue is like a stumbling block in the current moment is crazy, right? When you look at every other western democracy, which we couldn't get through a week or two ago, it doesn't reflect this sort of failure to deal with climate change. We are going to have to attempt to meaningfully address the climate crisis, at least for now, within the confines of the capitalist, democratic, liberal world order.
