If you're paranoid, you need a close friend who empathizes with your feelings but doesn't validate your thoughts. Don't go looking for another insecure person as your best friend. You want to have somebody who is more stable, more rational and less emotional in their points of view. Also once again, if you're paranoia, you need to sleep. And that means turn the light off, turn the TV off, stop thinking and focus on how am I breathing? That's how you go to sleep.
