The Existential Risk of Linux and the Linux Community

The existential risk for something like rel and all the Linux distros is basically like, like public cloud. In which case, if you're in that business, you want to go get as much money from your existing market as possible instead of worrying about growth. I think there was a fun idea my old coworker Richard Saroda pointed out about shifting left rather than right. It's just putting stuff into the platform that you have already put down.
